The more you look, the weirder it gets...
This is real, here's the link. I cant understand how someone thought this would be a good photo for a website.

Flap
What if no one in the world could glide like you? What if you could walk to the edge of the cliffs of mohr, smirk at the intimidating drop, and then dive head first, knowing with 100% certainty that the winds would carry you to the direction of your choice?
But what if you werent at the cliffs, and instead, you had to flap those wings before you could glide?
You'd have to flap those wings again and again, and again and again... mighty hard my friend, because you know what?
You reap what you sow.

If you have created a dictionary (NSDictionary or NSMutableDictionary) in Raskolnikov.m, and you need to send that information over to Petrovich.m... I would recommend using NSNotificationCenter.
Petrovich.m / Establish the notification for the function that will use the dictionary:
Petrovich.m / Establish the function that will use the dictionary:
Raskolnikov.m / Make a dictionary, then call the function in Petrovich.m that will use the dictionary:

[[NSNotificationCenter defaultCenter] addObserver:self selector:@selector(functionName:) name:@"Petrovich.functionName" object:nil];

- (void) functionName : (NSNotification *)notification {
NHLog(@"victim01 = %@", [notification.userInfo objectForKey:@"victim01"]);
}
Raskolnikov.m / Make a dictionary, then call the function in Petrovich.m that will use the dictionary:
NSMutableDictionary *myDictionary = [[NSMutableDictionary alloc] initWithObjectsAndKeys: @"Lizaveta", @"victim01", @"Alyona", @"victim02", nil];
[[NSNotificationCenter defaultCenter] postNotificationName:@"Petrovich.functionName" object:self userInfo:myDictionary];
[myDictionary release];

The NY Jets special teams will be key...
... specifically, the punt return team. For two weeks in a row the Jets punt returner has acted with reckless abandon and almost given over the ball on a punt return. If you're not going to catch that punt, please dont hang out near the ball (or let it go between your legs) and please yell "FIRE!" so your teammates know to avoid the ball as well.

Go Vermont!
This is pretty awesome. A new resolution by state senator Virginia Lyons of Vermont is aiming to tear down corporate rights.
A bit from the legislation:
Now a resolution is really just a proposal, but it's still a step in the right direction imho.

The profits and institutional survival of large corporations are often in direct conflict with the essential needs and rights of human beings...

Landing...
I have crossed the bridge, left Manhattan, and landed in Brooklyn. So I went on Google Maps to survey my new hood, and found this little dazzler:

Le Boycott: Day 107
This wonderful photograph of Will Ferrell reminded me of how often I used to watch Step Brothers.
Sadly, Step Brothers was removed from Netflix as a streaming option 107 days ago. I'm boycotting Netflix until they bring it back.
I'm just kidding about the boycott, but I'm not kidding when I tell you that I have seen that movie on Netflix at least 20x. No shame either, because A) Those guys are funny, and there are a bunch of Lvl 02 characters that bring it home as well, and B) Let's face it, the options on Netflix streaming are pretty weak.

87 South
A witch* gave me Xanax on Saturday night as I doused myself in red wine, leaving me about a 24 hour window of <WTF happened to me?>.
I drove about 100 miles in a rented truck and have almost zero recollection of the event. I even discovered this morning that for some reason during the drive I recorded a "podcast"** which was inspired by an Adam Corolla CD that my sister bought me.
But hey, mission accomplished!
* witch is not necessarily a pejorative term. ma soeur est une sorcière.
** i have never even considered podcasting before and the fact that I recorded one is so bizarre to me that I had to put it in quotes.

Depeche Mode . Black Celebration
This album has been coming up a lot on my shuffle, so I wanted to give a shout out to Kristy the Great for introducing me to this fine work.
